These terms of use are a legal agreement between us and describe the terms and conditions applicable to your use of our website and the services we offer including the sale of retail goods to customers. Placement of any order indicates your acceptance of these conditions

We take security very seriously and recognise that it is a major concern to customers and a barrier to online purchasing. We understand your concerns and utilise only the most reliable technology and techniques to keep you data secure.

We offer you the safest shopping available. Our Merchant Service supplier is Barclays Bank and our Internet Credit and Debit card Processing Service is provided by Secpay whom Barclays recommend. Our checkout page is secured by a Thawte SSL13 certificate.

We do not store any credit card information.

Privacy

The personal information that we gather from you will only be used in order to ensure that you receive the best possible service from sox-populi.com. When you provide personal information it is implicit that you consent to our use of that information in order to allow us to make our service available to you.

Descriptions and Product Information

Every effort has been made to reflect product colours as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in monitors, we are unable to guarantee that the colour you will see on your monitor will accurately reflect the true colour of the product.

All drawings, photographs, descriptive matter and advertising issued on this website are issued for the sole purpose of giving as accurate an idea of the product described in them as possible.

Out of Stock Items

All products displayed on this website are only available while stocks last. There may be an occasion on which an item you have ordered goes out of stock while we are fulfilling your order. If the products cannot be delivered within 30 days we will notify you of this delay and you may cancel your order or agree a further delivery time with us.

Purchasing Products

The prices displayed on this site are quoted in UK sterling, and are only valid and effective in the UK. The prices include 17.5% VAT (UK sales tax) and are subject to change if the applicable rate of VAT changes before your order is accepted. Customers living outside the EU and Channel Islands are entitled to a refund of the VAT which will be calculated at checkout

Once your order has been placed and accepted you will receive an email confirming your order along with an order number. It is advisable to print off this page for your records.

Where products are delivered to you outside the European Union you will be responsible for paying any local sales tax or import duties arising at the delivery destination, which are not included in the price of the product.

We use Secpay as our Payment Processor who are approved by Barclays Merchant Services (see above for Security). Any orders you place with us will not be accepted and no contract will be formed between us until you have paid for the products and all applicable charges in full. No payment shall be deemed to have been received until Secpay have received confirmation of cleared funds.

We reserve the right at all times and at our sole discretion to refuse to accept any orders.

Delivery

All products will be shipped as soon as possible (subject to credit clearance and availability of stock.)

All deliveries will be made according to the carrier’s standard procedures. For standard delivery a signature should not be required, however packages which cannot be delivered through the letter box may be taken back to the postal depot for collection. Please note that where a signature is required, orders cannot be sent to PO Box addresses.

Due to the current political climate, additional security checks are taking place in many countries. This may result in a small delay to the delivery of orders to certain countries.

Cancellation

Please email us immediately should you wish to cancel an order. We will cancel only if it has not already been dispatched.

Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your goods. If you wish to return the goods there is no need to contact us directly simply follow the return instructions enclosed within your package.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your socks, you may return them as long as they are in their original packaging and condition with all labelling attached.

Refund

We offer a full refund the original purchase cost of your goods but not the postage (except where goods are faulty). Only the original method of payment will be credited. Return credits take approximately 2 weeks to process.

Exchanges

Please note that we offer exchange for returned products at our discretion depending on stock availability. We do not issue credit notes. If items are returned in their original condition they are subject to a refund (see above).

Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that any products are found to be faulty within 28 days of purchase, please return them to us and we will provide you with a full refund or exchange. We will reimburse the any original postage paid when returning faulty items. (This does not affect your Statutory Rights).

No mention of any organisation, company or individual on our website shall imply any approval or warranty by us as to the standing and capability of such organisations, companies or individuals.

We take no responsibility for anything that might occur when you visit any other website. When you click on a link you will leave our website. We provide links to non sox-populi.com websites only as a convenience to you.
